Brief History
First Baptist Church of Archer, Florida was established in 1920, and we celebrated 85 years of history, changes, and ministry to the Archer community.
Although our methods may have changed during the past 85 years, our message has never changed. We still stand on the Word of God as our guide and standard. We still look to the Lord Jesus Christ as the only one who can save the lost from the wrath of God because of the sin that is found in the heart of mankind.
We may be located in the heart of Archer, Florida, but our church family extends throughout this area, with families coming from both Alachua and Levy Counties. It is well worth the drive to enjoy a sweet time of worship and fellowship with God's family here at Archer.
We invite you to come and be a part of our ministry, as we serve, worship, and praise our Lord Jesus Christ.
